Carrie Fraser is a 500 hr RYT with a incredible ability to give concise clear instructions and help yogis develop the muscles that prepare you for challenging or deep yoga asana. This is what makes her an amazing SUP yoga teacher! Being on the water might have you feeling a little ungrounded, with Carrie leading class you will feel safety, trust, and the courage to take risks. She guides practitioners through our Lotus Flow class with patience and precision.

We are so excited that Carrie will be teaching an anatomy based Pincha Mayurasana Workshop at Michigan's own yoga festival Barefoot & Free Yoga Festival.

Join Carrie Fraser, RYT 500, for this in depth, anatomical exploration of Pincha Mayurasana and all of its parts. Using YOGAMAZE methodology as the lens in which we view this challenging pose, we will spend time getting acquainted with the anatomical positions of the joints in this pose so that after getting comfortable with them on their own, we can put them all back together in order to find a new sense of stability that allows you to expand and shake your tail feathers.

No inversion experience necessary, as there will be plenty of accessible work done in non-inverted postures. Please come with a willingness to dive deeply into the awareness of your inner body, and also willing and able to support and be supported as we move safely into the final form of Pincha Mayurasana. You will walk away with alignment knowledge that will serve you in further Pincha Mayurasana work as well as in other postures on and off your mat.
